Love love love this place! Really good crispy fried chicken and best sweet potatoes I've had in a long while. The mozzarella sticks are chunkier and crispier than the usual deal. The restaurant has a small seating area but it's very clean and it feels like a mom & pop joint.

I came here on a weekday evening.

I had the half and half wings (soy garlic and hot and spicy) for $11.95. Everything was okay but in terms of flavor, I actually found there was not too significant of a difference between the flavor and taste of the soy garlic and the hot and spicy. I feel like the hot and spicy was actually only mildly spicy.

I think this restaurant could improve if they expanded on their sauce options in terms of flavor and spiciness level. If I were to compare it to say, BBQ Olive Chicken in KTown or even the quintessential, American "Buffalo Wild Wings" part of the appeal of a wings place, is to have several nuanced and exciting flavor options.

I also felt it was a little difficult in terms of the options to pay. They said it's a $15 card minimum, so I decided to pay in cash. They advertised if you pay in cash, you'd get a slight discount, but then I was told I wasn't eligible for the discount as my meal wasn't expensive enough.

Incredibly disappointing! I couldn't believe this was the same restaurant that I have come to love!

After a long hard day of gym and groceries, I decided to treat myself to Koko Wings because, GOD, that soy garlic flavoring and fry, you cannot beat! Unfortunately, they don't do lunch specials on weekends, so I thought I'd try the strips, as mathematically speaking, it's more chicken.

I came in around 12:30 on a Saturday, so there definitely were a couple of fellow diners. I was eating by myself, but I've done that before because I love this place THAT much. However, when I came in this time, my waitress sat me at the bar seating, despite the fact there were multiple tables open. Bar seating is not great, as Koko's stools have *zero* back support. I asked to move elsewhere, and the waitress seemed really unsure about moving me to a table where I had a chair with a back, or even bringing one of the chairs to the bar. She moved me to a table in a dark corner. I had just finished resetting my things when a Korean party came in. My waitress came over and asked me to move AGAIN.

Now reseated in front of the window, at least it wasn't dark anymore. The fries quickly came, and then the chicken. The chicken was truly a disgrace. It was not crunchy at all, there was hardly any soy garlic flavoring, and the meat was bland and dry. It was truly such a disappointment. The coleslaw was pretty good, but it's also hard to mess up coleslaw. I highly advise staying away from the strips.

As I was eating by myself, I was watching something on my phone with headphones in. The waiter came up to hand me the check but then said something to me. I couldn't hear her because headphones so I asked her to repeat what she said. Strangely, she refused? Then walked away laughing.

She came back for the check, and I asked if I could have some containers for my food. I clearly had full second servings leftover of the fries, coleslaw, and chicken! Four chicken strips! And she came back with ONE tiny container and two plastic bags???? The container could only hold the chicken, and even that was tight. I ended up asking another server for what I needed.

Between the food quality and the strange experience with the service, I'm extremely disappointed with Koko Wings. I try to treat myself to this place twice a month, but after this, I'm not so sure. Based off of fellow Yelpers, my review seems to be part of a pattern. If this continues, I might just make the jump and become a loyal patron of that Turntable Chicken Jazz place on 33rd instead.

I'm so disappointed and Koko wings! On my last dining on lunch they said only cash? $15 min on cards and my total was $12 Now I went tonight after googling the time they close witch was 11pm so I made it right before 10pm. They said where close I couldn't even get Togo. I love the chicken here! And the server is nice as well. But I'm at the end of the road!

Please have a set time and don't have lunch specials if you don't take cards under $15 Makes no sense at all!

Never disappointing! You could just tell that the food is made with love. My personal favortie is the hot and spicy chicken strips with a side of brown rice. Be warned it's really spicy... and delicious!. Tried the mozzarella sticks for the first time and liked them. If you want something besides water to cool down the fire.. the grapefruit beer is the way to go.
